CSR Policy
DAIKIN FINETECH, a member of the Daikin Industries Group, contributes to society by developing business activities based on thorough compliance with corporate ethics, laws, and regulations.
Approach to the SDGs
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals aiming for sustainable and better world by 2030. It is listed in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” unanimously adopted by the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001.The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets, and pledge to "leave no one behind" on the planet. The SDGs are universal goals not only for developing countries but also for developed countries themselves to work on. Japan is also actively working on them.

Approach to the SDGs
We contribute to the achievement of the SDGs by developing environmentally and health-conscious products with our technologies and know-hows and disseminating such products. We also put effort into environmental conservation activities and social contribution activities through in-house events.

- 1Development and Dissemination of Environmentally and Health-Conscious Products
- (1) Small Sized Extendable Batch Wet Station

By downsizing the equipment, we have minimized the consumption of DI water and chemicals and succeeding in reducing exhaust.
We also encourage customers to take preventive maintenance of equipment to extend the lifetime of products sold (effective use of limited resources). Learn more →
- (2) PICLIA Piezoelectric Cable Sensor

The sensor can contribute to health promotion and solution for various problems in the medical and nursing care fields by measuring vital signs with the sensor attached to clothing or seat, etc. In addition, it can operate by self-power generation without consuming power source, which contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions and a prevention of global warming (low power consumption system). The lifetime of products has been extended by fluoropolymer treatment to prevent deterioration (effective use of limited resources).
- 2Participation in Environmental Activities and Social Contribution Activities
- (1) Energy-saving activities
- All of our company members work on monitoring energy consumption and energy saving activities, raising our company members’ awareness of environmental issues according to our Environmental Slogan and Action Guidelines. In addition, some of our facilities use electricity derived from renewable energy sources with the environmental value added with non-fossil certificates.
- (2) Participation in cleanup and various volunteer activities
We encourage our company members to participate in cleanup activities outside the company and various volunteer activities.

DAIKIN FINETECH is a company that has both the fluoropolymer molding business and the semiconductor cleaning equipment business, having its Headquarters Plant at Showa Industrial Park, Yamatokoriyama City, Nara Prefecture, Japan. We promote resource and energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling in our business activities from product development to production, sales, consumption, and disposal, with a green heart where each of all company members care for the earth and the environment, recognizing our social responsibility as a good corporate citizen. Action Guidelines
WE VISUALIZE ALL OUR ACTIVITIES FROM AN ENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVE TO IMPROVE AWARENESS AND EFFECTIVENESS.
- 1All of our company members raise our awareness of environmental issues and work as one to reduce environmental impact.
- 2We will actively and efficiently practice our "Environmental Management" based on our Environmental Policy and Environmental Slogan to ensure and improve our environmental management system and we strive to achieve our environmental objectives and goals with all company members. We periodically review our environmental objectives and goals and revise them as necessary.
- 3We ensure all of our company members to understand and comply with laws, regulations, and other requirements.
- 4We will promote environmental activities throughout our business activities, including product development, production, sales, distribution, maintenance, and recycling. In particular, we will develop products and innovate technologies that contribute to the improvement of the global environment, and lead the environmental business.
- 5We work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will develop environmental activities aimed at carbon neutrality.
